The common way of funding the running costs of internet services is to show advertising. It’s so popular because it’s a good deal: Users get to use the service for free, nobody is excluded due to lack of money, and the owner of the service gets money to cover the operating costs.
For us grown-ups this deal is so commonplace that we often don’t even question it. We’re used to seeing banners, video pre-rolls, pop-ups and all other forms of advertisement.
But when it comes to showing advertisement for kids, some start to wonder. Some parents don’t want their kids to see any kind of advertisement online. We understand that wish – after all, kids don’t necessarily realize that they are watching an advertisement, or they might even see something inappropriate. Even though we at watAgame hand-pick our advertising partners to make sure all content is suitable for children, we have decided to allow parents to go one step further. We have recently introduced a package called Ad free Momio.
GOING AD FREE
If you don’t want your child to see any kind of advertisements on Momio, you can buy Ad free Momio. You pay a small sum once, and your child will never again see any ads on Momio. This includes all forms of advertising: posts, chat messages and videos.
Here’s how to buy it:
1. Log in to Momio with the account that you want to become ad free.
2. Click the diamond icon on the top bar.
3. In the pop-up that opens, click the tab with the picture of an umbrella.
4. Purchase the package.
Once the ad free is purchased, that account will never again see any form of advertisement on Momio.
